Jay Sayers specializes in helping adolescent to adult clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, life changes, and family/relationship conflicts. His main goal in therapy is help clients feel comfortable sharing their stories and learn ways to reduce distress and improve their lives. He is also trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy to assist with communication and strengthening couple's relationships.
He likes to use Narrative Therapy, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) to help clients identify and see alternatives to their "life story" and see multiple PARTS of themselves to work through their thoughts and feelings. Previously, Jay had a career with Walt Disney World and believes that his entertainment background helps him connect on a creative level.
