Hi, I'm John. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a decade and a half of experience working in the field of mental health. I primarily focus on dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, substance use issues, trauma, burnout and grief. I work with individuals, couples, and families and believe that tried and true psychological models combined with a trusting therapeutic relationship is the most effective way to help you strike the balance you're looking for.
Most people are unique. Therefore, I adjust which clinical approaches I use in order to meet your goals. Further, as a former division one athlete and team captain, a law school graduate, a club national champion, a coach, and a therapist, I have a subspeciality for working with professionals and athletes of all ages struggling with stresses and pressures.
Finally, a safe space where you can breath is really important to me. I pride myself in creating an environment where you can feel at ease on your therapeutic journey. I am available for both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.
