I use an eclectic approach meeting each client where they are at and developing a treatment plan and approach that works for them. I work with clients and provide with guidance toward their goals. I have over 18 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have training and experience as a psychotherapist and a behavioral health consultant. I have training in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), somatic therapy, EMDR, and have also been trained in other evidence-based practices. I have experience treating patients with mental health and substance use disorder.
I have worked with many different populations including veterans, first responders, and Native Americans on the San Carlos Reservation. I served in the United States Army and the Army National Guard from 1987-2001 and was honorably discharged in Fall of 2001. In the past year, I have been Clinical Program Director at Cancer Support Community.
