I am interested in religious issues and resources in therapy, marital and pre-marital counseling, adolescents and their families, gender roles, gender identity issues, fathering, and adult development. I have worked extensively over the last 30 years with adolescents, couples, and families. My therapy consists of looking at present and past ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving so as to nurture hope, find solutions, and create meaning.
I received my PhD in 1995 at the Graduate School of Psychology, Fuller Theological Seminary. I also completed my MDiv in theology at the same institution.
