These are not easy times. Stress, anxiety, and depression abound. Our quality of life is often challenged by interpersonal and psychological conflicts, economic and work related demands, technological changes, and a culture too often encouraging distraction and superficial quick fixes. A quality therapy experience must be tailored to helping people better understand their specific problems and develop substantive ways of dealing with them. This may include, when needed, educational information that can improve how we respond & communicate effectively with others.
Specialties include; marriage counseling, parenting issues,
depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, sexual abuse, dissociative identity disorder, executive coaching, and creativity development. I am a strong believer that helping people develop a balance between consumptive and productive life activities can be a cornerstone for living a more satisfying life.
In addition to my doctorate in psychology, I am a professional artist with a master’s degree in art therapy & creativity development. Working well with artists, musicians, and writers, I also help other clients overcome obstacles in the development of their own creativity.
