How do you define good health and well-being? Stress, anxiety, and depression are part of life, especially post pandemic. At times life can feel chaotic and overwhelming for everyone. Knowing when to access help is an important part of managing overall health. As you know, stress and anxiety will always appear and reappear in our lives. Therapy may help you develop an understanding of how to live with stress and anxiety in a healthy way. Learning to change your relationship with negative thoughts, gain insight and awareness to unhealthy behavior, and learning to cultivate healthy thoughts and behavior are all part of the process.
How do you choose the right therapist? Learning to open-up, build trust, and develop a therapeutic relationship with a therapist takes time. Especially if you have not had a good experience with therapy or if you are new to the process. If you choose to start services take the first few sessions to make sure we are a good match.
I provide a free 15-minute initial phone consultation to see if we are a good match. Give me a call if you have any questions or would like to start services. Good luck in your search!
