We all face rough patches in life from time to time. I work from an integrative model of counseling which seeks to grow understanding of oneself while equipping individuals with helpful skills & tools to improve thoughts, feelings, & behaviors. I incorporate many evidenced based theories of counseling including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I believe healing, change, & growth happen in the context of a secure relationship with another. I see a good, trusting relationship between counselor & client as a key to the success of counseling.
