Hi my name is Joey Cianci. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University with a concentration in Trauma Studies. I believe that every individual can find within themselves the skills to create the life they want. My role is to help strengthen those skills while providing guidance and support. I have over a decade of experience working with individuals and families affected by anxiety, depression, trauma, marital and family discord. My therapeutic approaches consist of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive and Strength based therapy.
I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings. I have experience working in outpatient settings as well as inpatient psychiatric hospitals. This experience allows me to assess your needs and to provide support to help you achieve your goals.
