My focus at the outset of therapy and throughout is to provide you an open, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for you to begin to process and heal. I belief that the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance for the therapeutic journey to be effective. For this reason, building strong and collaborative trusting relationships with you is essential. It is my view that every individual is unique and arrives in therapy with their own unique strengths. I see to empower you to identify and utilize those strengths to create meaningful change.
In my practice, I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, ACT, Gottman Approach and EMDR. I integrate mindfulness and mindfulness techniques to be empathetic and understanding to yourself in the present moment. I am EMDR trained. However, I aim to tailor my interventions to my client's individual needs.
I genuinely enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, including individual- adolescents and adults, couples, and families.
