I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 23 years of experience as a psychotherapist, Victim Advocate, Clinical Director and mentor towards social work students. I have provided services to clients with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse, life transitions and grief/loss issues. I am truly honored that my clients have entrusted me to assist them in their process of empowerment, healing and moving forward in their lives. I have helped clients for many years from "being their own worst enemy" to learning self-care, forgiveness and compassion.
I utilize various therapeutic modalities such as; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology and Motivational Interviewing. My counseling style is client-centered and strengths-based provided with kindness and warmth. I wholeheartedly believe in treating every client with respect, dignity and compassion.
