Life's challenges can affect anyone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have the privilege of helping those affected by the stressors of life regain their lives and overcome the toll stress can take on us. I also help individuals and families with other mental health issues that they're facing such as trauma, depression, anxiety and coping skills. After being in the mental health field for over 15 years, I understand how easy it is to feel overwhelmed by day to day struggles and stressful life situations. My goal is to help each individual live a more positive, healthy life.
While I use an array of psychotherapy techniques, I have found that EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) offers the most effective and efficient treatment for many individuals.
It can be overwhelming to think about addressing many of these issues. Sometimes its hard to even know where to start. I'm here to help you with that process.
