I am passionate about helping kids overcome struggles, traumatic experiences, false self beliefs, triggers, and stuck feeling states that impact their everyday functioning. These challenges may be showing up as anxiety, attention problems, emotional dysregulation, and behavior challenges.
I provide a client centered, holistic, integrative approach to counseling, which means I consider each client’s mind, soul, body, physical health, culture, and life experiences. Whatever they are struggling with, your loved one will be received with acceptance, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. I am affirming of clients identifying as LGBTQIA+.
I have experience working with adolescents and adults in an inpatient eating disorder facility, as well as adults struggling with mental health disorders, substance abuse, and homelessness. In addition to being a counselor, I have a family, and have been in your seat taking my own kids to counseling. My son has ADHD & it has been a challenging road to walk.
