My work, education, and personal experiences are the driving force in my role as a Licensed Clinical Graduate Counselor. I have 30 plus years experience working with children ages 3-18 in the school setting. I have a Master's in Education, Master's Equivalency in Arts Integration and a Master's in Science of Counseling with state licensure. The purpose of my practice is to enhance academic, social, and emotional progress in children, serve parents in supporting their children and provide an overall wellness approach for individuals needing a change.
My practice includes individual, group, and family counseling. I am trained and experienced in psychotherapy, psychoeducation, cognitive behavior, social learning, person-centered and solution focused theories. I also work as an advocate for children in the school setting consulting school staff and attending EMT, 504, and IEP meetings.
We start the process to wellness with a 30 minute intake session. From that session we build a plan together with the highest regard of care to specific needs in mind.
