I am a Cognitive-Behavioral therapist, trained intensively within this model from graduate school on. However I often apply other frameworks within sessions, such as mindfulness, insight-oriented work and problem-solving. My specialties include anxiety and depressive disorders.
Therapy is, for some, a very big step. With that in mind, I always encourage patients to make sure the connection feels right from the start.
