For 25 years, she had worked in education, 22 years as a School Counselor, while dedicating equal time to various wellness roles. JoAnn is also certified in Career & Technical Education & holds licenses as a Mental Health Counselor in both New York and Connecticut. After leaving education she has been in private practice, primarily seeing adult clients. Her expertise is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, TeleMental Health, & the use of Essential Oils as complementary therapies.
December of 2020, JoAnn completed an advanced program in Nutritional & Integrative Medicine for Mental Health, which has served as a foundation. She continues to expand her knowledge with ongoing education in sleep, exercise for mental health, metabolic psychiatry & other relevant topics.
By integrating these diverse approaches, JoAnn helps her clients regain mental wellness through personalized assessments, wellness counseling, and targeted interventions.
