| español My desire as a bilingual licensed clinical social worker is to help individuals to find solutions. relief; balance, strength, and insight in their own ability to cope with life’s problems. I tailor my therapy in order to meet the needs of my patients incorporating Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Throughout my extensive career, I have personally incorporated effective listening skills which I personally have observed to be meaningful in developing a strong client-provider relationship.
I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. I continued on to graduate school at Dominican University with a Master Degree in Social Work with specialization in School Social work in 2011. I'm fluently in Spanish which makes it comfortable for me to provide counseling in both languages.
