As a licensed psychologist for 40 years, I am highly experienced and have worked with a wide variety of clients, helping them to successfully move through their challenges and achieve their goals. Examples of these goals could be symptom relief, improved marriages/relationships, working through problems with teens and parenting, personal growth, improved relationships with friends or colleagues at work, increased satisfaction with feelings about yourself or your direction. My style is highly engaged and interactive. I will provide a safe/caring environment, focusing on your strengths as well as your areas of pain and distress.

I enjoy treating individuals, couples and families. My Diplomate specialty is Family Systems Psychology. My experience ranges from systems to psychodynamic to cognitive behavioral and sex therapy. I pragmatically work from some combination of these several perspectives depending upon your needs, with some attention to your history but focus on changing today.

An approved supervisor for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, I provide supervision/consultation to other therapists. I teach therapy and leading large systems with faculty positions held at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Emory University, Georgia School of Professional Psychology, and the Leadership Institute of Seattle.
