I’m originally from Ohio where I attended college and began my counseling practice. I worked in Dallas, TX and Wilmington, NC before settling in Apex, NC. Clients who I see are typically having a hard time with at least one important life issue. They are feeling overwhelmed which is impacting most other parts of their lives. They want to think, feel and do better and that’s what I help them do.
I view life and my counseling approach as developmental. We are constantly evolving, and attempting to be better versions of ourselves. I’m a cognitive behavioral therapist which means I pay attention to how my client’s think and respond to the many circumstances they face. With the use of CBT strategies, most of my clients experience progress fairly quickly
