Welcome, I'm glad you're here. At Pivot Counseling, LLC, I strive to create an environment that fosters growth and change. My work with you will encompass the biological, emotional, relational and spiritual aspects of mental health. I will approach the complexities of these factors in your life with both compassion and respect. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, addiction, and grief. However, my practice is open to everyone, regardless of your specific challenges. I warmly welcome all individuals seeking support and guidance.
I consider myself a client-centered therapist and have over 20 years of experience, having earned my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Houston in 2003. I am a certified EMDR and Brainspotting therapist. I integrate parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy into my work with clients.
