Choosing a psychologist with whom you will feel comfortable is an important and personal decision. In response to many requests, I have expanded my teletherapy hours. Whether in my office, or via the internet, my approaches reflects my fundamental commitment to diminish distress and foster resiliency. In my 30+ years of practice, it has been my privilege to assist many people in attaining a life reflective of their strengths and goals. Whether psychological/social issues, trauma, disaster exposure, medical problems, or other concerns are affecting how you feel and/or function, working together, we could improve your life and health.
My treatment approaches reflect many years of training and experience with adolescents and adults. People with whom I have worked have had a variety of problems, such as adjustment disorders, PTSD, chronic illness, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, dissociative disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, chronic pain disorders and trauma.
My practice is committed to facilitating growth and healing, and reflects my fundamental belief in the resiliency of the human spirit. I have seen this firsthand in my work as a First Responder at 9/11 -WTC, Hurricane Katrina and many other situations. Although often difficult, we ultimately can learn new ways to cope and to use our tough times to grow.
