Being a kid today can be really difficult and parents often need help. Are you or your loved ones struggling? I would love to talk with you. I have assisted many different types of families and I am an adoptive and former foster parent, myself. I have a passion for working with children and have worked with children in schools, hospitals and mental health agencies. My education includes graduate degrees in Developmental Psychology and Social Work.
Clients who have worked with me report learning new ways of thinking and skills to address overwhelming emotions. They state that I am calm and fun and 'cool' (meaning not judgmental). People find that interacting with me in sessions helps them learn skills to use in the world outside the session.
Although I bring a lot of training and experience, I perceive you to be the expert in your life. I listen carefully to both children and adults who see me.
