When we are faced with difficult situations in life, we often find ourselves stuck in a spiral of negativity. Thoughts and feelings may cause us to experience deep pain, depression, regret, isolation, anxiety, embarrassment, and possibly lead to chronic physical illness. Being stuck can keep us from pursuing our goals, our purpose, and from being the person we were created to be. My goal is to meet you where you are, offering an authentic emotional connection focused on solutions and strategies that foster personal healing and desired change.
I integrate person-centered therapy with other supportive theories to foster a relational connection with individual clients age 18+. Through empathetic listening in an environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment, we will identify strongholds and work through challenges together.
My experience as a wife, mother, teacher, school counselor, volunteer, mentor to college students, and small group leader at my church has fueled my passion to connect, learn, and problem solve with others on an interpersonal level. It would be a privilege to get to know you and hear your story.
