Dr. Damon-Minow specializes in pediatric and young adult neuropsychological assessments, autism evaluations, developmental assessments, ADHD evaluations, and others. She works with children and adult individuals who may be struggling with their cognition (e.g. memory, attention), social functioning, behavior, emotions, school or job functioning, and more. The goal of these evaluations is not simply to provide a diagnosis, but to assist clients and families in understanding their children or themselves, and to provide specific recommendations for how they can reach their goals.
Dr. Damon-Minow has extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan, and in particular with children. She has a specific interest in neurodiversity. Her approach is strengths-based and neurodiversity affirming, validating the experience of those who are neurodiverse and not seeking to "fix" individuals who may present as different.
Dr. Damon-Minow is currently accepting new clients for evaluations. When you contact New Heights, she will set you up an intake appointment where you will meet with her and discuss your concerns, and the appropriate evaluation will be scheduled.
