Nutruting Parenting Program Parenting Classes
The Nurturing Parenting Programs are a family-centered trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills “to empower individuals and families with new knowledge, beliefs, strategies and skills to make good and healthy lifestyle choices.” The Nurturing Parenting Programs target children from birth to 18 years of age. “The lessons are a versatile means of educating families in the community on the philosophy and skills of Nurturing Parenting." The programs feature activities to foster positive parenting skills with nurturing behaviors, promote healthy physical and emotional development, and teach appropriate role and developmental expectations.
