What is trauma? Trauma is any experience we face that we have never gone through before. Trauma isn't what happens to us, it's what happens inside of us. We learn how to manage our current situations by our past experiences. If you've been feeling unlike yourself lately, unable to manage things you could before, or constantly struggling with interpersonal relationships, it could be because you haven't developed the skills to navigate through what life is currently throwing at you. We don't chose the childhood we were given, or the challenges we are faced with, but we DO choose how we control the one thing we can: ourselves.
I am a certified personality disorder treatment provider as well as a licensed hypnotherapist. Milton Erickson said “Change will lead to insight far more often than insight will lead to change” and I believe the tools I offer through these certifications lend most to meaningful and lasting change for my clients.
