I'm most experienced working with people who experience anxiety, depression, challenges from trauma, stress, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. My priority is to provide a safe space where you feel empowered to advocate for your needs.
Prior to Covid, animal-assisted therapy took place at Alley Cat Cafe. Participating in animal-assisted therapy has been shown to reduce physiological and psychological signs of distress such as heart rate, blood pressure, anxiety, and stress.
