My counseling experience includes mental health as well as addiction treatment, in both the inpatient and outpatient/telehealth settings. I specialize in working with those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma responses, mood disorders, impulsivity, interpersonal conflicts, and life changes. I help my clients to process adverse life experiences and identify unhealthy core beliefs that contribute to current life stressors that affect the mind and body.
My therapeutic approach is a strength based, eclectic and person-centered to best assist clients with achieving their goals. I use evidence-based therapy approaches and trauma informed care. I want my clients to feel safe and validated during therapy. I am trained in EMDR and can offer this through telehealth.
Coming to therapy can be intimidating which is why I strive to always show my clients sincerity, compassion, and empathy in a judgement free zone. My goal is to empower to my clients to take their stories back and rewrite the narrative. I want to help my clients heal and lead better, healthier lives.
