I am currently accepting new clients with no waitlist! I strive to create a respectful, welcoming, and safe space for my clients. I work with adults to process trauma, explore their LGBTQ+ identities, cope with stress and anxiety, heal from depression, manage life changes, and more. Although everyone has coping strategies, I can help review what is and isn't working, refine the healthy strategies, and add some new skills to practice.
I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while always keeping each person’s individual needs in mind. I love working with mindfulness, improving boundaries, and considering different perspectives.
Beginning therapy can be a daunting step, but I'm a firm believer that holding pain and suffering inside makes things feel worse. Those feelings have to come out somehow! I'm a patient listener and I'll do my best to support you. Therapy can be hard work, but it can also bring well-deserved relief and peace.
