It is the counseling relationship- rather than a specific theoretical orientation or modality- that allows for lasting therapeutic change. We humans heal in relationship.
That is how I start our therapeutic work together: by focusing on relationship and by creating space for trust, patience, and empathy. From there, I use a variety of modalities: EMDR, CBT, somatic interventions, and mindfulness techniques. My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, respectful, and individually tailored to your needs.
