I believe that all people have the ability to create a life of meaning and connection, yet this is difficult in modern times. More spaces are needed where people can discover what is hidden, share the unspoken, and embrace one’s full self. Through the co-creation of a shared space, we work to discover what healing and growth looks like fo you. As a part of a holistic health center, we can also work with acupuncturists, herbalists and bodyworkers to support the process.
I practice from a trauma-informed relational framework with an emphasis on acceptance and self-compassion. I specializes in mood/anxiety disorders, sexual trauma, perinatal mental health and group work (though groups are on pause for now). I utilize breath work and meditative experiences to bring about a more grounded and felt sense of understanding.
The most important aspect of successful therapeutic work is making sure that the relationship between the client and therapist feels appropriate to you. After three sessions, if I don't feel like the right fit for you, I will assist you in finding a therapist who matches more of what you need.
