The journey towards mental and emotional wellness can be difficult, especially for those who have experienced trauma or painful life transitions. Each personal has an individual relationship to their experiences, feelings, thoughts, and perceptions of their past, present, and future. Each person who enters my office must be regarded as a wholly unique individual who deserves an individualized approach to whatever concerns have put them on the therapeutic path necessitating the use of adult integrative psychotherapy consisting of many approaches.
As your therapist, we will collaborate together on the best approach to meet your goals. This can be anything from EMDR, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, or any combination thereof. I also offer Art Therapy, which uses creativity to give a voice to thoughts and feelings that transcend language.
Finding the right therapist can be difficult, like buying jeans: you may have to try a few pairs before finding the right fit. I believe in being flexible and accommodating while accompanying clients on their therapeutic journey--not leading from the front, or pushing from behind, but right alongside you.
