I enjoy working with clients who wish to see lasting change through engaging the stories and systems underlying their unwanted thoughts, behaviors, anxieties, or relationship issues. They may even identify with a belief that they are "broken" or "too sensitive". Many of my clients identify as high achievers, neurodivergent and/or highly gifted, athletes, creatives or parents. Many also hold identifies with marginalized groups as LGBTQ+ or BIPOC folx. Together we will listen to the story your body, symptoms, and/or behaviors are telling you so you can find your way back to yourself and restore connection.
I have post graduate speciality training in couples therapy methods including The Gottman Approach and Emotionally Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, Mindfulness approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, & I incorporate sensory support tools and visual learning tools into my approach based on client need.
I know firsthand the vulnerability and courage it takes to be in the position of client. I am sensitive to and respect your choice to invest in this process with your time, energy, and finances.
