My name is Jessica Olson and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. I work primarily with adults and couples, specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, parenting, and self-esteem. Rapport, being authentic, and supporting clients' strengths are important to me. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, as not one approach fits all and I strive to adapt to my clients and make treatment feel personal.
People often say they feel calm and peaceful around me, and I am intentional about bringing this energy into therapy sessions. I invite clients to truly come as they are, as I am very laid back and open-minded. My communication style is "go with the flow" with some curious questions.
Over a period of time, I love doing "progress sessions" with my clients and just focusing on all the progress they have made during our time together. It is a great time to reflect and discuss strengths and new goals.
