I graduated from the University of New Hampshire, earning my Master of Social Work degree, and have been a psychotherapist for the past 7 years. I am currently working towards a PhD in Developmental Psychology. My choice to specialize in grief came at a young age after a personal experience. I lost a classmate in high school that had a profound impact on me, enough to help me decide that that mental health was the career path I wanted to take. This and my passion to help people eventually brought me to where I am today.
I also specialize in anxiety disorders, life transitions, family and relationship issues, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and self-esteem issues. I see quite a bit of intersection between anxiety and grief. Both areas start by utilizing psychoeducation, understanding what anxiety and grief are and how they impact us.
I provide an individualized, holistic approach and incorporate various treatment modalities. My therapeutic style incorporates authenticity and practical experience to help foster positive change and growth and help you meet your treatment goals.
