Hello, I'm Jessica Lin, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I am passionate about working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, helping them to find their own “best fit” when it comes to issues of self-care, struggles with mental health, and redefining themselves as they go through different stages of life. As a first-generation Asian-American, my mission is providing culturally competent care and helping diverse individuals to find their most sincere and genuine selves, and to put themselves as the main character of their own stories.
I enjoy getting to know every single one of my clients and offering a comfortable, safe, and non-judgmental space to heal. I utilize evidence-based and holistic practices that include Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy, which aid in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and racial identity.
I graduated with my Masters in Counselor Education, Clinical Mental Health focus from Western Connecticut State University. In my previous career, I worked full-time for Western University as an Assistant Director, where I worked with High School and college students as a career and academic counselor.
