I believe in the philosophy that every person has the ability to positively change their lives through their own untapped potential. I practice different evidence based approaches to help my clients discover their own strengths and use them to achieve their goals. My passions include helping my clients set and accomplish their goals during therapy, by meeting my clients where they are. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology at Emory and Henry University. I continued my education at Radford University where I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Development.
I am most experienced with Addictions, Eating Disorders, and Trauma Work. I offer a wide range of approaches to counseling which allows me to practice through the lens of different theoretical concepts, including a trauma informed lens and a Health at Every Size (HAES) model. I also offer, if desired, Spiritual Counseling.
I utilize a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform to provide a welcoming environment for everyone I work with, so in their time of need, they can feel safe and comfortable. This setting facilitates the ability for my client's to start or continue their journey down their path towards healing.
