I completed a dual-degree Master's program from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in Marriage & Family Services (MS) and Social Work (MSW). I moved to Colorado in 2012 to practice therapy and be in a place where I can enjoy nature and a healthy lifestyle.
My therapeutic areas of passion include trauma (ie: sexual assault, interpersonal violence, child abuse...), family/couple dynamics, disordered eating and body image, and anxiety/depression. I am a Certified EMDR therapist and find this practice to be extremely impactful in reconstructing core beliefs and feelings about yourself and your experiences.
