PEERS

I am certified through UCLA to provide PEERS curriculum in a group setting. The curriculum focuses on social and relational skill building for adolescents and adults with ADHD, IDD, and Autism. Goals of group: Assist in making and deepening friendships, concrete rules for social etiquette and engagement, improve self esteem and connectedness, reciprocity in friendships, decrease isolation and rejection, didactic lessons to address conversational skills, use of humor, electronic communication, how to enter and exit conversations, handling arguments, handle rumors and gossip, as well as handling rejection and bullying.
