Prior to joining the Lifestance team in May 2021, I have enjoyed a rewarding career providing services in the mental health field in multiple capacities working with children and adolescents within the foster care system, community settings, and adults with severe mental illness in their home environment. Treatment modalities I utilize include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (emdr), cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and motivational interviewing. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Psychology from The University of Houston (2009).
I received a Master of Arts in Clinical-Community Psychology from Texas Southern University (2015). After graduating, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am also a certified cognitive processing provider.
