Often when we struggle, we are having a normal reaction to abnormal circumstances. The world we live in can feel unsupportive of just how hard it is to be a human. I feel it is a privilege to help my clients realize their innate wholeness and courage and I approach the therapy relationship with a genuine, compassionate, and non-judgmental style. I work best with clients who are struggling with the impact of trauma, emotion dysregulation, dissociation, self injury, depression, anxiety, and issues specific to the LGBTQIA+ population.
I utilize a mindfulness-based approach and am intensively trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I am also trained in brainspotting and incorporate other trauma informed interventions into treatment based on individual needs.
