I believe every person and family is unique and there are many ways to raise a healthy child. I want to honor the strengths within you and your family and offer the tools and support to help your child and family thrive. Through a trauma-informed lens, I work extensively with youth, parents, and families on life transitions, healthy communication, and processing/ healing from grief or abuse.
I specialize in Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA); using art, music, role-play, and creativity to assist clients in deepening their understanding of themselves. I am also trained in recognizing and processing the impacts of interpersonal, domestic, and sexual violence- matters which I approach with a sensitive lens bringing in education and empowerment tools.
I utilize CBT, EFIT, and Solution based therapy in my work. I will collaborate with families to develop behavioral plans and strategies based on the individual needs and motivations of your child and love helping with co-parenting strategies. I also work individually with teens regarding self-harm, self-esteem, and navigating our complicated world.
