Hello, I'm Jessica M. Camacho, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Clovis, CA and working statewide via Telehealth. I am a bilingual in Spanish. I provide individual therapy to adults, and I specialize in depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. I usually work with clients that are 18 and over experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, and adjustment to changes in functioning and/or medical issues.
My communication style is calm and personable. I try to break down therapy techniques and therapeutic verbiage to create a space that makes seeking therapy less overwhelming. I want my clients to feel comfortable.
I like to use a strengths-based approach and together work with you to build on those strengths that you already possess by utilizing interventions from evidenced based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Behavioral Activation.
