I work with individuals facing a variety of challenges that might present in different ways like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. I take a collaborative approach, meeting you where you are at, while also exploring underlying factors that could be associated with present day struggles. Together, we will focus on the past and present to help build a well balanced future.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a trauma focused background. I use various approaches based on individual needs. Some of these include Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Present day stressors and challenging emotions can be difficult to navigate. We can get lost in it all. Exploring our emotions and how they are connected to our past can help inform our understanding of the present. This insight can allow us an opportunity to cope and better manage our lives. It may be difficult, but healing is always worth the work.
