Trauma often leaves us feeling stuck in feelings and beliefs that don’t line up with the here and now. Trauma can create feelings of alienation and worthlessness that keep us isolated or detached from the ones we love. Whether we are processing a single traumatic incident or compounded developmental trauma, it is a joy for me to help me clients find a new sense of freedom and personal power. My style is warm and focused on providing concrete and measurable benefits within a short period of time.
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help people get unstuck and move past the feelings and beliefs holding them back. EMDR is a powerful therapy that typically requires between 3 and 12 sessions to complete but many people start to feel relief after the first session.
