I seek to engage the total intelligence of your being, encouraging your thoughts, feelings, sensations, and intuitions to be resources rather than enemies. My relational therapeutic approach is hinged on the value of the here-and-now as the time-and-place to be.
With a background of study in psychology and psychodynamic theory, I chose Gestalt Therapy as the focus for my post-graduate training. I find its holistic model of change to be the most energizing of approaches, and the most applicable to everyday life. It is also a useful tool for integrating mystical experiences of various sorts, including dreams.
Whether you are brand new to therapy or a seasoned participant, I am interested in meeting you as you are now. I bring my enthusiasm for exploration, of the depths and the heights alike, to partner with you in the reinvention of what is possible. (As of 6/1/24, I am accepting new clients for video sessions, as well as in office sessions on Wednesdays.)
