My name is Jesaca Lepper, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Santa Barbara, California. I work with adolescents and adults throughout the state through telehealth and specialize in working with clients who are experiencing depression, stress, and trauma, and use trauma informed therapy to help clients create different relationships with themselves and others. My approach is psychodynamic, trauma informed, and strength based, which means that I work with clients to help them understand patterns of relating to themselves and others so they can get unstuck and create the life they desire.
My communication style is accepting, welcoming, and engaged. I want to help clients feel that they can discuss all parts of their life and experience with me, and creating an environment of curiosity and warmth is an important part of my work.
During the first session I'll ask some questions about your history and what brought you to therapy at this time, so I can understand more who you are as a person, but the first session is focused on your needs and experiences.
