I take a holistic approach to counseling and focuses not only on my client’s emotional needs, but also integrates the client’s physical health practices, social support, hobbies/ interests, and spirituality. I love being active, being in nature, and I have been an avid surfer in Florida’s Space Coast for over thirty years. I feel balance to life is paramount in maintaining emotional, cognitive, and physical health and I carry this philosophy into my work. I'm adaptable and can see my clients in the office setting or in nature settings as well.
I believe in working with my client’s strengths, successes, and personal accomplishments to aid them in moving through their presenting problems they bring to the counseling setting to address. I use a warm, personal, integrative approach to walk alongside the client in their healing journey and to aid the client in attaining their therapeutic goals.
I feel the client has the answers to their healing journey; I am here to walk beside them and guide them as they explore themselves and to aid in facilitating that healing through my training and experiences working with others throughout the years.
