I am a psychotherapist with 8+ years experience. I use a practical and flexible approach to treat problems such as anxiety, depression, substance misuse and LGBTQ+ concerns.
I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy and pull from both CBT and mindfulness-based practices. I encourage finding self-compassion and mindfulness when faced with difficult life issues. I specialize in harm-reduction treatment of men who use crystal methamphetamine and the intersection between sex, sexuality and substance use.
I have worked in various sites (hospitals, clinics, college counseling centers and private practice) and I offer both short-term counseling as well as longer-term psychotherapy.
