Seeking therapy can be good news! One of the deepest needs for people is wholeness, to be fully accepted as they are and to experience relationships as a healing force toward growth and self-understanding. In my practice, clients are met with the deepest respect, the knowledge of underlying needs and patterns to be explored, and a passionate curiosity about your irreplaceable and meaningful existence in life.
I work with people who struggle with anxiety, depression and trauma. Techniques I use are informed by a few specific theories such as relational, attachment-based and brain-based approaches. I have found this to be fundamental for working with people in pain or in need of change.
Therapy usually begins with building a safe and supportive environment and may vary in pace in partnership between therapist and client. People who will likely find a reduction in troubling symptoms, improvement in their functioning and overall satisfaction with the direction of their lives.
