I support adults in individual and couples therapy with a variety of needs, whether it’s structured treatment for psychological disorders (e.g., depression and anxiety), action towards personal/professional goals or concerns (e.g., career development, burnout), or relationship support and enhancement (e.g., pre-marital, affairs, dissolution). I am passionate about working with college and graduate students.

My treatment approach integrates cognitive and behavioral strategies (including Gottman method couples therapy) that will serve you in the present time and into the future.
As a psychology professor for over twenty years, I stay up to date on the scientific literature on mental health concerns, including ethical, evidence-based treatment practices that are culturally sensitive and inclusive.
